According to environmental principles there should be 432 trees for everyone living on earth. That is 1: 432.In India this ratio is just 1:28.This will help you to understand how much trees we needed in our country. Growing trees reduces heat and keeps the environment and ourselves clean and healthy. So everyone should consider it their duty to grow and preserve the trees. The Parvavaran Parirakshana Samiti has called for a week-long ‘Vriksha Raksha Bandhan’ ritual from Shravanapurnami to Rakshabandhan across the country. It was decided to plant as many seedlings as possible during this week. It was decided that the responsibility for their care would also be taken by the activists. It was also decided to go to the nearest ancient tree on the last Sunday of August I.e., 29.8.2021 and perform pujas. It was decided to bring water from a nearby rivers or canals and worship with them and to complete the ‘Prakriti Vandana’ program. The program is expected to achieve the desired spirit for environmental protection for the total year .
‘Vriksha Rakshabandhan’ and ‘Prakriti Vandana’ programs were held in various parts of Andhra Pradesh at the call of the Paryavarana Parirakshana Samiti. Also a large scale planting program was organized in many parts of the state. The details were provided by Andhra Pradesh state Paryavarana Parirakshana Pramukh Shri Potturi Adiseshayya.
