Sanghamitra Seva Samithi, Nandyala, Kurnool District, Andhrapradesh which is at the forefront of serving and introducing cultural traditions to the society, presented garments to 48 priestly couples under the name of “Lakshmi Narayana Seva” with the courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. Chamarthi Venkataramaiah.
Under the auspices of the Sanghamitra Seva Samithi, they have been provided with necessities in the past with the help of donors.
At present, in the name of “Lakshmi Narayana Seva” 48 priestly couples are traditionally worshiped and hounered with saris, blouses, turmeric, kumkum, flowers, fruits, dhothi and towels.
During the program, Sanghamitra Secretary Shri Chilukur Srinivas said that it is a God-given gift for us to serve these priests who are constantly living in the service of God.Dr. Khader Bad Udaya Shankar explained the specialities of Hindu traditions.
Members of the Sanghamitra Working Committee along with a couple of activists from the Parivara Kshetras around Nandyal enthusiastically participated in the event and made it a success.
