Some people are making money by selling fake tickets to devotees who come to take darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Due to Corona, TTD is releasing a limited quota of Rs 300 Darshan tickets. But as thousands of devotees competed for the Shrivari Darshan, special Darshan tickets of… 300 were counterfeited and sold to innocent devotees. They are selling 15 times more at original price that is at Rs 4,400. The scandal came to light when the authorities came to know that number of devotees who are getting darshan are more than Rs 300 darshan tickets allotted by TTD were being visited daily. Vigilance enforcement officials are investigating the issue. It is suspected to be the work of a travel operators in Tirupati.
