The Jayanti function of Shri Valmiki and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was held under the auspices of Hindu Chaitanya Vedika at the Post Office Center in Vijayawada, Krishna district, Andhrapradesh.
After garlanding the portraits of Valimiki and Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel, the distinguished guests spoke about the greatness of Maharshi Valmiki and Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel.
They said, “Valmiki, who was living as a robber in jungles, wrote the epic Ramayana after repenting over the tragedy of a nightingale bird. The epic Ramayana will remain in the hearts of the people for ever and will continue to teach the values and ideals of life to all mankind.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the Iron Man of India played a key role in uniting more than 550 independent states with India, emphasized that heroism, perseverance, self-confidence and patriotism are ideal and viable for all Indians, no matter how many generations have passed.”
