Samata Murthy Sri Ramanuja is a great social reformer as he renamed the people of the marginalized communities, who were kept away in the name of untouchability, as Haridasas, transformed them and gave them a place of honor in the society! Despite differences in our abilities, we all need to work together just like the five fingers of our hand, for the benefit of all.
We have seen in the schools we run for the tribal boys, belonging to tribal groups living for hundreds of years in the forest area of Adilabad district, that they pass with the best marks when provided with educational opportunities in a good environment!”
Venerable Chinna Jiyar Swami mentioned this in his concluding address to the National Conference of Social Leaders held at the Ashram on 10th February 2022. 169 delegates from different states participated in the conference. Half of them were SCs and the other half were from different castes.
