The National SC Commission has responded to a complaint that a large number of SCs and STs are converting as christians in Andhra Pradesh. Commission has issued notices to the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh to inquire and report on religious conversions taking place in the state.The SC Commission ordered the chief secretary should be reported within 15 days on Complaints and allegations of religious conversions in Andhrapradesh state. Warned that chief secretary would have to appear in person before the commission if the report was not submitted by the deadline.The commission informed that also the commission will investigate on religious conversions in the state.
