
The Thirumala Kshetra, which belongs to deity of Kaliyuga, Lord Sri Venkateswara, will no longer be known as the birthplace of Hanuman also. On the Ugadi day of the Telugu new year on April 13, TTD is ready to prove this fact with myths, inscriptions and scientific evidence. TTD E.O Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Thursday had a lengthy review with members of the expert committee on this matter at the TTD administration building in Tirupati. Speaking on the occasion, EO said that the scholars in the committee will inform the people about this on Ugadi day with astrology, inscriptions, myths and scientific evidences. Evidence to prove that Hanuman’s birthplace was Anjanadri, along with other details, will soon be brought to a comprehensive book. It is learned that a committee with TTD scholars was set up in December 2020 to prove with evidence that Hanuman was born on Anjanadri hill.

The committee comprises SV Veda University Vice Chancellor Acharya Sannidhanam Sudarsana Sharma, National Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor Acharya Muralidhara Sharma, Acharya Rani Sadasivamoorthy, Acharya Janamaddi Ramakrishna, Acharya Sankaranarayana, ISRO scientist Remella Murthy and Deputy Director of the State Archaeological Department Vijay kumar. Dr. Akella Vibhishana Sharma, Project Officer, TTD SV Institute of Higher Studies is the convener of this committee. The scholars of the committee met several times and did in-depth research and gathered strong evidence to prove that Hanuman was born in Anjanadri. According to Shiva, Brahma, Brahmanda, Varaha, Matsya Puranas, Venkatachala Mahathyam and Varahamihiru’s Brihatsamhita… Anjanadri hill wich is the part of lord Sri Venkateswara’s 7 hills was the birthplace of Lord Anjaneya . According to the age (Yuga) and date also they came to this conclusion.
