
A meeting was held at the Haindavi Bhavan in Ayodhya Nagar in Vijayawada under the auspices of the “Hindu Scheduled kulala parirakshana samithi – Andhrapradesh” (Hindu Scheduled Castes Conservation Committee – Andhra Pradesh) on the topic of “Abuse of Dalit Reservation – Conservation”. Shri Boni Ganesh, State President, Hindu Scheduled Castes Conservation Committee, who was the chief guest at the meeting, said that the reservation given to Dalits by the Constitution was being misused. He said that Christians who have converted today are doing injustice to the true Hindu Dalits by getting false caste certificates as Hindu SCs. They demanded that the government treat those who converted from Dalits to Christianity as BC – C. He said he would form a full-fledged Committees in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh and will campaign for the protection of the rights of Hindu Dalits.
Hindu Scheduled kulala parirakshana samithi leader Shri Peram Vijay Kumar said that true Dalits who are living as Hindus without converting are being discriminated against religiously by Dalits who have converted to Christianity. Awareness has been expressed that real Dalits are being deprived of jobs, education, employment and power due to fake Dalits who have converted.
The Hindu Scheduled Castes Protection Committee – Andhra Pradesh has demanded the authorities to conduct a full investigation into the conversions taking place in the state, identify Dalits who have converted to Christianity in the state, revoke their caste certificates and bring justice to the real Dalits.
They passed a resolution at this meeting asking the government to :
1) Dalits who have converted should be identified as BC – C,
2) Revoke the SC caste certificates of those who have converted.
Dharma Jagarana Samiti Andhra Pradesh leader Sri Tirupathaiah said that All Dalits are Hindus and that the aim of Dharma Jagarana Samiti is to bring all those who have converted to Christianity under the spells and temptations has to bring back to the our Sanathan dharma.
And he continues…. “Dharmajagarana Samiti will extend full support to the Hindu Scheduled Castes Protection Committee which is working for the protection of the rights of Hindu Dalits and will work with them in the future.”
The meeting was attended by Hindu Scheduled Castes Conservation Committee – Andhra Pradesh State Women President Mrs. Tupakula Ramanamma, leaders Shri Addepally Raghavulu, Shri Rangarao, Shri Nagraj and others.
