Tirupathi: TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said that TTD shall conduct training programs in all districts of the state to spread awareness on organic farming and Panchagavya products among young farmers.
Addressing a review meeting with Goshala operators at the conference hall of the TTD Administrative Building on Sunday, the TTD EO said plans were drawn towards the free distribution of the surplus 2500 cows in Goshala to farmers by June end.
He said TTD also provided financial support to the nodal Goshalas for health checkup of cows, fodder and transport cost to distribute the bovines to farmers.
The training program conducted for Goshala operators at Mahati in Tirupati and Sri Kalahasti has yielded good results, said a Goshala operator. The EO said each Goshala has their own speciality which could be utilised to manufacture Panchagavya products.
