Kurnool district Emmiganur MLA Chennakeshava Reddy made sensational remarks that the Government should lift the ban on cow slaughter. He commented that this is one of the outdated old laws and that the BJP brought this law only for votes. “Cow is Venerable to Hindus, but the same is food for Muslims,” he said. Hindus and leaders of Hindu communities are angry on MLA for making such arrogant remarks.
