In Tirumala Navratri Brahmotsavas of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, the direct deity of Kaliyuga, are held in splendor in Thirumala. On the second day of the Brahmotsaval, on Saturday, Swami appeared on a Hamsa vahan (swan vehicle) wearing a veena and adorned with Saraswati Devi. It is believed that Srivaru mounted the swan vehicle to remove the egoism of the devotees and bring enlightenment. On the third day, as part of the Navratri Brahmotsaval, the Swami will appear on the lion vehicle at 9 am and the Muthyapupandiri vehicle at 7 pm.
