Visakhapatnam, August 18: Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated that the upcoming meetings will primarily deliberate on critical issues such as demographic imbalance (demographic change) and drug abuse affecting the youth. The RSS ‘Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak’ (All India Coordination Meeting) is being held at the Vijnana Vihara School in Gudilova, near Visakhapatnam. Addressing a press conference at the venue on Tuesday afternoon, he announced that the three-day coordination meeting will commence on August 19 at 9:00 AM and continue until the evening of August 21. Key functionaries from a total of 32 Sangh-inspired organizations will participate. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, Sah-Sarkaryavahs, and other central office-bearers will attend the meeting.

Participation of Leaders from Various Fields:
National presidents, general secretaries, and organizing secretaries from various Sangh-inspired organizations—including Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), and Rashtra Sevika Samiti—will be in attendance. A total of approximately 327 delegates, including 253 functionaries from various organizations across the country (featuring 49 women delegates) along with RSS leaders, are participating.

Key Topics of Discussion:
He clarified that this is not an executive decision-making meeting; rather, its primary objective is to share mutual experiences and enhance coordination among various organizations for the betterment of society.
* Contemporary National Scenario: Review and discussion on current national developments, social transitions, and practical solutions to emerging challenges.
* Demographic Imbalance (Demographic Change): Deliberations on changing demographic patterns across the country, their broader implications, and necessary course of action.
* Youth De-addiction (Nasha Mukti): Formulating a comprehensive action plan to keep youth away from drugs and substance abuse, expressing deep concern over rising addictions, and creating widespread awareness.
Sangh Centenary Year – Panch Parivartan (Five Initiatives for Social Transformation):
As part of the Sangh’s centenary initiatives, discussions will focus on promoting five transformative dimensions:
* Social Harmony (Samajik Samarasata)
* Environment-friendly Lifestyle (Paryavaran Anukool Jeevan Shaili)
* Family Values (Kutumba Prabodhan)
* Sense of Self/Indigenous Consciousness (‘Swa’ Bhavana / Swadeshi & Swa-Jagruti)
* Adherence to Civic Duties (Nagarik Kartavya Palan)

Bharatiya Model of Development:
He emphasized that deliberations will include formulating a holistic ‘Bharatiya Development Model’ that harmonizes all spheres of society alongside economic growth. True development should not be restricted solely to economic indicators, but must encompass comprehensive progress across all sectors.

Growing Engagement Among Youth:
During this centenary phase of the Sangh, there has been a remarkable surge in public interest toward the RSS. Through the ‘Join RSS’ website, while 57,423 people registered between January and July 2025, the number grew nearly two-and-a-half times to 1,23,287 during the corresponding period in 2026. Among those registering, over 65% are youth under the age of 30, and nearly 85% are under the age of 40.

Dakshina Madhya Kshetra Sah Sanghchalak Sri Dusi Ramakrishna, Sah Prachar Pramukh Sri Pradeep Joshi, Andhra Pradesh Pranta Prachar Pramukh Bayya Vasu, and Sah Prachar Pramukh Vasudeva Rao were present at the press meet.
