Unidentified assailants destroyed the canopies of Audusesha of a statue of Cheruvukatta Narasappathatha (Lakshminarasimhaswamy) in Vagarur village in Kurnool district ministry zone. Priest will perform Puja in every Monday and Thursday at the temple located at Suguru Reservoir, 2 km from the village. The rest of the day the temple is locked. On Monday morning the Priest Nagraj came to the temple and saw that the heads of Audisesha that are four out of nine relics on the idol had fallen to pieces. Then He informed locals and lodged a complaint at the police station.
