In Rayalacheruvu village, Yadiki Mandal of Anantapur district, Andhrapradesh the government officials did not listen to the request of the locals to stop the illegal construction of a church. The villagers are voicing that some are building a church without any permission even though there are no Christians in their village.
The villagers appealed to the tahsildar to stop the illegal church construction. Tahsildar did not responded to their complaint. And again he is telling that “Let’s see when construction is completed”. But the villagers are telling that they aware that… after completion of church construction then the officials must say that “The construction completed anyway? What to do now?” So the villagers wants to stop it immediately. The villagers said they had also approached the village secretariat staff and received a similar response from them. The villagers wants the involvement of Hindu organizations and help them to stop the construction of that illegal church building.
