Sri Sri Sri Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swami, the renowned Pejavar Chairperson of Karnataka, visited Ramalayam on the Rama Tirtha hill in Vijayanagaram district. Later he visited the Shiva temple at Ramatirtha. In a subsequent press conference he strongly condemned the incident took palce at the Ram Mandir in Ramatirtha and on the serial attacks on Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh over the past few days. He demanded that the state government should immediately identify the culprits and punish them severely. He said the central government should also intervene in the matter and do justice to Hindus and Hindu temples. Later he released to the press, the letter he wrote to the Home Minister Sri Amit Shah.
