“We came to Tirumala from the Paderu tribal areas in 10 buses arranged by Tirumala Tirupati Temple and SSF and saw Swami with our own eyes. This is the first time we’ve been here. Our thanks to the SSF and the Tirumala Tirupati Temple authorities for making this possible.

In the past in our Paderu tribal division with the financial help of TTD, SSF with their charitable support we have worked very hard to build 35 temples as we wanted. At present our tribal brothers are the good priests in these temples. These priests were trained by TTD. These programs have reduced religious conversion in our tribal areas.

We worship Mother Nature as eternal ..

Modu Kondamma mother is our goddess. Earth, tree, ant, water, mound, nymph are our deities. Those of other religions are robbing nature.

Only in Sanatana Hinduism is nature considered as mother and nature preserved. All our tribal deities are those inaccessible incarnations! We still pray to the Pandavas. The temple has 100 idols of Kauravas and 5 idols of Guru Pandavas. Today they are in a state of disrepair.

“The exile of the Pandavas is not yet complete. The evil kingdom of the Kauravas is still going on. Soon the anonymous abode of the Pandavas will be completed. The Dharma kingdom of the Pandavas will come. ”….this is in our everyday songs. Ours is Paderu Division. We tribals claim that we are Hindus.

Lord Narasimha is the son-in-law of our family

Srisailam Mallanna was first looked after in the temple in all respects and the devotees were showed the way in the forest area by our Chenchu brothers! In Ahobilam, Ugra Narasimha married Chenchulakshmi, embodiment of our house hold name. Thus, Narasimha is the son-in-law of our family.

Thirumala Venkannaswamy played the dice himself with our Lambadi devotee Hathiram Babaji. Looking at the history and the way in which we are deeply associated with Hinduism, it is not appropriate to separate us as non-Hindus. Some of our tribal brethren who have converted to Christianity are not celebrating our tribal festivals. How can those who do not celebrate our tribal festivals, those who walk away from tribal culture, become tribals? ” They asked.

Under TTD’s Divya Darshanam extended to the weaker sections including the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and fishermen, 485 tribal men and women who were brought here in 10 special buses from their villages, first had darshan of Lord Venkateswara and later Vaikunta Dwara Darshan in the famed Tirumala temple, leaving the tribes in spiritual ecstasy.

The much elated tribals after darshan said that it is for the first time that they had Vaikunta Dwara Darshan held at Tirumala temple on the occasion of the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadasi and profusely thanked the TTD management for providing them the opportunity which they said in one voice that they remember it forever.

Poojari Jamuna (37) of Singarba tribal hamlet in Ananthagiri mandal (Visakhapatnam) said that though several times she wished to have Venkanna darshan, she could not make it for various reasons. For the first time she had the Lord’s darshan and also Vaikunta Dwara Darshan which she said would cherish lifelong.

Other tribes including Gajjala Madhusudan of Kodiba village said they had no words to express their emotional feelings and spiritual solace they got while having a glimpse of the Lord and passing through the Vaikunta Dwaram which they never dreamt of and thanked the TTD.
It may be recalled that the TTD buoyed with the success and response to its Divya Darshan to weaker sections introduced during Brahmotsavam in October last year, continued the special darshan to the weaker sections – Vaikunta Ekadasi Uttara Dwara Darshan also this year.

Accordingly, the TTD in association with Vijayawada-based Samarasatha Seva Foundation (SSF) took up the elaborate exercise of providing Vaikunta Dwara Darshan to the weaker sections residing in the colonies where the TTD had built temples in the 13 districts in the State. The special darshan to weaker sections which began on January 13th on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi would continue till January 20th so as to provide darshan to about 7,000 belonging to SC, ST and fishermen communities. The TTD in association with SSF and AP Endowment department built 502 temples in weaker section colonies in 13 districts in the State.

SSF senior functionary Syam Prasad said the arrangements including transport, food and other facilities were made for the weaker sections to visit Tirumala and return home after darshan. SSF activists are accompanying the devotees for Divya Darshan (Vaikunta Dwara Darshan) from their villages to Tirumala where they co -ordinate with TTD authorities to ensure a hassle-free darshan in Tirumala for them and travel, food and other requirements enroute, he said adding that the TTD gesture to weaker sections would go a long way in helping the vulnerable weaker sections like Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and fishermen keep their age-old faith of Sanatana Dharma intact.

Addressing the devotees who arrived from the Agency areas Addateegala, Rampachodavaram etc. in East Godavari district for darshan, at Madhava Nilayam (PAC 2) in Tirumala on Tuesday evening, the Additional EO Dharma reddy said Srivari Brahmotsava Darshan was provided to devotees belonging to weaker sections living in the colonies where the TTD in association with AP Endowment department and Vijayawada-based NGO Samarasata Seva Foundation (SSF) constructed temples for Dharma Pracharam.

At the behest of TTD chairman Y V Subba Reddy, the TTD under ‘Divya Darshan’ decided to provide the special darshan during Brahmotsavam at Tirumala temple enabling about 7,000 people from the weaker section colonies to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara during Brahmotsavams last year and continued its gesture for the 10-day Vaikunta Ekadasi-Dwadasi festival at Tirumala temple, this year also. Accordingly, the devotees from the colonies are being brought daily in batches for darshan and also Uttara Dwara Darshanam from January 13th, he explained. Reddy said the TTD did not stop with the construction of the 502 temples in the weaker section colonies in the 13 districts in the State but continued it support in various ways like providing special training in Archakatvam to the select from the colonies for performing poojas daily in the temples and also conducting rituals and religious celebrations, based on the shrines. This was to boost up Hindu Dharma Pracharam and to strengthen the weaker sections belief on our age-old Hindu religion.

“The mission behind this programme is to ensure that there will not be any religious conversions of the vulnerable weaker sections in backward areas more so in the interior places,” he said affirming that in the coming days, the TTD will take up its activities with renewed vigour covering the 502 colonies. SSF senior functionary Syam Prasad said those who could not have darshan of the Lord during the Brahmotsvams were chosen for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. The devotees who spoke thanked the TTD for its gesture and said that the darshan of Lord which was their maiden darshan thrilled them and boosted their spiritual morale. They said that they would share their experience with other residents in the colonies to inspire them to take up Dharma Pracharam with renewed efforts. Deputy EOs Harindranath, Bhaskar, SSF representatives Jaganmohan Reddy, Indira Devi, Sudhakar and others were present.

“తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం వారు ఏర్పాటు చేసిన 10 బస్సులలో పాడేరు గిరిజన ప్రాంతాల నుండి మేము తిరుమల వచ్చి స్వామి వారిని కళ్ళారా చూశాం. మేము ఇక్కడకు రావడం ఇదే మొదటి సారి. ఈ దర్శనభాగ్యం కల్పించిన తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం అధికారులకు, SSF వారికి మా ధన్యవాదాలు.

గతంలో మా పాడేరు గిరిజన డివిజన్ లో టి.టి.డి.ఆర్థిక సహాయంతో, SSF వారి హార్థిక సహకారంతో మేము కోరుకున్న విధంగా 35 దేవాలయాలను ఎంతో కష్టపడి నిర్మించుకున్నాం. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ దేవాలయాల్లో మా గిరిజన సోదరులే చక్కగా పూజారులుగా పని చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ పూజారులకు టి.టి.డి వారే తర్ఫీదు ఇచ్చారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమాల వల్ల మా గిరిజన ప్రాంతాల్లో మత మార్పిడి తగ్గింది.

మేము అనాదిగా ప్రకృతినే తల్లిగా పూజిస్తున్నాం…..

మోదు కొండమ్మ తల్లి మా దేవత. భూమి, చెట్టు, పుట్ట, నీరు, గుట్ట, వనదేవత… మా దేవతలు. ఇతర మతాల వారు ప్రకృతిని దోచుకుంటున్నారు.

సనాతన హిందూ ధర్మంలో మాత్రమే ప్రకృతిని తల్లిగా కొలుస్తారు, ప్రకృతిని కాపాడు కుంటారు. మా గిరిజన దేవతలు అందరూ ఆ దుర్గమ్మ అవతారాలే! మేము పాండవులను కొలుస్తాము.మా చింతపల్లి మండలంలో లంబసింగి గ్రామంలో సంతపేట వీధిలో ప్రాచీన కృష్ణ మందిరం ఉంది. ఈ దేవాలయంలో 100 మంది కౌరవుల విగ్రహాలు, 5 గురు పాండవుల విగ్రహాలు ఉన్నాయి. నేడు అవి శిధిల స్థితిలో ఉన్నాయి.

“పాండవుల అజ్ఞాతవాసం ఇంకా పూర్తి కాలేదు. కౌరవుల దుష్ట రాజ్యం ఇంకా కొనసాగుతోంది. త్వరలో పాండవుల అజ్ఞాత వాసం పూర్తవుతుంది. పాండవుల ధర్మ రాజ్యం వస్తుంది.” అని మేము పాటలు పాడుకుంటాము. మాది పాడేరు డివిజన్. మేము గిరిజనులం మేం హిందువులం అని పేర్కొన్నారు.

నారసింహుడు మా ఇంటి అల్లుడు

శ్రీశైలం మల్లన్నను మొదట సేవించింది, దేవాలయాన్ని అన్ని విధాలా బాగోగులు చూసిందీ, భక్తులకు అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో దారి చూపించింది మా చెంచు సోదరులే! అహోబిలంలో ఉగ్ర నారసింహుడు మా ఇంటి ఆడపడుచు చెంచులక్ష్మిని వివాహమాడాడు. నార సింహుడు మా ఇంటి అల్లుడు.

తిరుమల వెంకన్నస్వామి మా లంబాడీ భక్తుడు హాథీరాం బాబాజీతో స్వయంగా పాచికలు ఆడాడు. మేం హిందూ ధర్మంతో ముడివడిన వారం, మమ్ములను హిందువులం కాదంటూ వేరు చేయడం తగదు. క్రైస్తవ మతం తీసుకున్న మా గిరిజన సోదరులు కొందరు మా గిరిజన పండుగలను చేయడం లేదు. మా గిరిజన పండుగలను చేయని వారు, గిరిజన సంస్కృతికి దూరంగా జరిగిన వారు గిరిజనులెట్లా అవుతారు?” అని వారు అడిగారు.

“మీరు ప్రాణం లేని రాతిని దేవుడుగా కొలుస్తారు. ఈ రాయి మీ కష్టాలను తీరుస్తుందా? మీరు మా మతంలోకి వచ్చేయండి.” అంటూ జోరీగల్లా గొడవ చేస్తున్నారు. మా బంధువులు కొందరు మతం మారిపోయారు. హిందువులుగా ఉన్న మాకు అండగా ఎవరున్నారు? తిరుమల స్వామిని చూడాలని ఎప్పటి నుండో కోరిక. ఈ రోజు SSF,TTD ద్వారా మా కోరిక నెరవేరింది. ఈ వెంకన్న స్వామినే నమ్ముకున్నాము. మాకు అండ కావాలి” అని కన్నీళ్ళతో ఆ 60 ఏళ్ల గిరిజన మహిళ తన అనుభవాన్ని, ఆవేదనను TTD JEO శ్రీ ధర్మారెడ్డి ముందు చెప్పింది.

But there are so many devotees who think if it is possible to climb the seven hills at least  once in their lifetime and visit that Lord.  They belong to the most unfortunate section of the society and cannot even get a square meal a day.

But The Samarasata Seva Foundation (SSF) has made it possible for all such people to pay a heartfelt visit to the protector of orphans , Lord of the Seven Hills, during the holy Brahmotsav through the “Divya Darshanam” program.

The SSF provided an opportunity for the Harijans, tribals and fishermen from all corners and rural areas across the state to visit the Thirumala deity Lord Venkteswara. Devotees had gathered from all parts of the state for Lord Balaji Darshan.

500 poor SC, ST devotees selected from each district and approximately 6500 devotees from the state were taken to Tirumala in special buses and given the chance of  Divya Darshan. TTD has arranged transportation and accommodation for the devotees. And also TTD has arranged the special darshan for all of them.

They were thrilled and got emotional with the darshan of  Lord Balaji. The tribals happily danced the traditional Dhinsa and worshipped the Lord.

In this way, the Samarasata Seva Foundation is constantly striving to create spiritual, charitable and social consciousness among the people of remote villages by carrying out many diverse activities.

“మనసేమో నీకోసం పరుగులెడతది… చిల్లు కాసయినా లేని జేబు తిరగబడతది….”

అని పాడుకుంటూ ఆ శుభఘడియ కోసం ఆర్తిగా ఎదురుచూసేవారు.

అలాంటి వారందరికీ పవిత్ర బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల సందర్భంగా ఆ అనాథ రక్షకుణ్ణి, ఏడుకొండల స్వామిని మనసారా దర్శించుకునే భాగ్యాన్ని “దివ్య దర్శనం” కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా కలిగించింది సమరసతా సేవా ఫౌండేషన్ (SSF).

రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా కొండల్లో, కోనలలో, గ్రామ సీమలలోని హరిజన, గిరిజన, మత్స్యకార సోదరులకు ఆ తిరుమల గిరివాసుని దర్శించుకునే అవకాశాన్ని కల్పించింది SSF. వాడ వాడల నుంచి ఆ ఏడుకొండలవాడి  దర్శనానికి భక్తకోటి తరలివచ్చింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి జిల్లా నుంచి జిల్లాకి 500 మంది చొప్పున ఎంపిక చేసిన షుమారు 6500 మంది పేద SC, ST భక్తులను ప్రత్యేక బస్సులలో తిరుమలకు తరలించి వారికి దివ్య దర్శన భాగ్యాన్ని కల్పించారు. వచ్చిన వారికి రవాణా, వసతి సౌకర్యాలను TTD ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. వారందరికీ ప్రత్యేక దర్శనం ఏర్పాటు చేసింది.

ఆ స్వామి దర్శనంతో వారు పులకించిపోయారు.పరమానంద భరితులయ్యారు. గిరిజన సోదరులు ఆనందంతో సంప్రదాయ ధింసా నృత్యం చేసి వెంకన్నకు మొక్కులు చెల్లించారు.

“అయ్య బాబో ఇక్కడున్నావా?

ఏడు కొండలెక్కి బాగ కూసున్నావా?

ఎన్ని మైళ్ళు రావాలి? ఎన్ని రైళ్లు మారాలి? సామీ…

నిన్ను సూడాలంటే… సూదంటు రాయంటి సూపున్న సామి”

అని పాడుతూ పారవశ్యంతో చిందులేశారు.

ఈ విధంగా ఎన్నో వైవిధ్యభరిత కార్యక్రమాలను చేపడుతూ మారుమూల పల్లెల్లోని ప్రజలలో ఆధ్యాత్మిక, ధార్మిక, సామాజిక చైతన్యాన్ని కలిగించే ప్రయత్నం నిరంతరం కొనసాగిస్తున్నది సమరసతా సేవా ఫౌండేషన్.

చిత్తూరు: మనది దేవాలయ కేంద్రత సమాజం. కంచి, మధుర, పూరి…. వంటి ప్రముఖ నగరాలు దేవాలయం కేంద్రంగా నిర్మాణం అయి ఉండడాన్ని గమనించవచ్చు. మన వ్యవస్థలో దేవాలయం అంటే ప్రార్థన కేంద్రం మాత్రమే కాదు, ధర్మ ప్రచార కేంద్రం, శ్రద్ధా కేంద్రం, విద్యా కేంద్రం, కళల ప్రచార కేంద్రం…. ఇలా ఎన్నో విషయాలకు కేంద్రం. నేడు దేవాలయం మన వ్యక్తిగత భక్తికి కేంద్రంగా మాత్రమే ఉంది. దేవాలయానికి వెళ్ళే ఒక భక్తునికి, మరో భక్తునికి(ఆత్మీయ) సంబంధమే ఉండదు. హిందువులు అనైక్యంగా ఉన్న కారణంగా హిందూ సమాజం అనేక సమస్యలను ఎదుర్కొంటోందని సామాజిక సమరసతా జాతీయ కన్వీనర్‌ శ్యామ్‌ ప్రసాద్‌ అన్నారు.

చిత్తూరు జిల్లా, ముచ్చివోలు గ్రామం ఎన్సీ కాలనీ, ముద్దుమూడి ఎస్సీ కాలనీల్లో ఈ నెల ఎనిమిదో తేదీన సమరసత సేవా ఫౌండేషన్‌ ఆధ్వర్యంలో సామూహిక ఆరతి కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి శ్యామ్‌ ప్రసాద్‌ హాజరై, మాట్లాడారు. ‘సంఫీు శక్తి కలౌ యుగే’ హిందువులం సమైక్యంగా ఉంటేనే హిందూ ధర్మ రక్షింపబడుతుందని, మనం హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని రక్షిస్తే హిందూ ధర్మం మనలను రక్షిస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆ దృష్ట్యా సామూహిక ఆరతి రూపొందించబడిరదని తెలిపారు.

సామూహిక ఆరతి ఎలా చేయాలి?

ప్రతి నెలా ముందుగా నిర్ణయం చేసిన రోజున సామూహిక ఆరతి దేవాలయంలో నిర్వహించాలి. ఆ దేవాలయం చుట్టూ ఉండే భక్తులు కుటుంబ సమేతంగా ఒకే సమయానికి కర్పూర బిల్లతో దేవాలయానికి చేరుకోవాలని శ్యామ్‌ ప్రసాద్‌ తెలిపారు. కొంతసేపు భజన చేయాలని, దేవాలయ అర్చకునితో పాటు భక్తులందరూ తమ తమ ప్లాట్లలో ఉన్న కర్పూరాన్ని వెలిగించాలన్నారు. అందరూ ఒకేసారి స్వామికి ఆరతి ఈయాలని, అనంతరం 10/15 నిమిషాలు మన ధర్మంపై ఒక ప్రసంగం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్నారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా మన ధర్మం పట్ల అవగాహన, హిందూ ధర్మ రక్షణకు అవసరమైన సామూహిక భక్తి, శక్తి కల్గుతుందని, ఇవీ నేడు మన సమాజానికి అవసరమని పేర్కొన్నారు. గ్రామ గ్రామాన ఇటువంటి సామూహిక ఆరతి కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించాలని శ్యామ్‌ ప్రసాద్‌ పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

క్రీస్తు మతంలోకి మారిన ఆడపిల్లను పెళ్లి చేసుకోవాలంటే…… అబ్బాయి హిందువైనా సరే మతం మార్చుకోవాల్సిందే. అలా మతం మార్చుకోవడానికి ఇష్టపడని అనేకమంది హిందూ హరిజన కుటుంబాలకు చెందిన మగ పిల్లలు పెళ్లిళ్లు కాకుండా మిగిలిపోతున్నారు.

ఇలాంటి నేపథ్యంలో కృష్ణాజిల్లా చాట్రాయి మండలం కృష్ణారావు పాలెం S.C కాలనీకి చెందిన జ్యోతి సరికొత్త మార్పుకు తెరతీసింది. గత మార్చి మాసంలోనే ప్రత్యేక పూజా కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా క్రైస్తవ్యంలో నుండి స్వధర్మంలోకి వచ్చిన జ్యోతి తనను పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోయే వరుడు హిందువై ఉండాలని ప్రకటించింది.

సమరసతా నేవా పౌండేషన్ గత కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల నుండి సనాతన ధర్మ వైభవం గురించి ఇంటింటికీ తిరిగి ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నది. దారి తప్పిన పూర్వ హిందువులను తిరిగి స్వధర్మంలోకి తీసుకురావడానికి కృషి చేస్తున్నది. అందులో భాగంగా పశ్చిమ కృష్ణా డివిజన్ మహిళా కార్యకర్తలు శ్రీమతి నాగరాజ కుమారి, శ్రీమతి గౌరిల నాయకత్వంలో హిందూ ధర్మ వైభవంపై డివిజన్ వ్యాప్తంగా విస్తృత ప్రచారం జరిగింది.

సనాతన ధర్మంలోని విశిష్టతను గుర్తించిన జ్యోతి ఇటీవలనే స్వధర్మంలోకి వచ్చింది. ఆమె హిందువుగా మారిన వేళా విశేషం వలన ఆమెకు వివాహం నిశ్చయమైంది. అయితే వరుడిది క్రైస్తవ కుటుంబం అవటంతో వరుడు స్వధర్మంలోకి వస్తేనే తను అతనిని పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటానని జ్యోతి ఘంటాపథంగా చెప్పింది. వరుడు సైతం పెద్ద మనసుతో తన కాబోయే భార్య కోరిక మేరకు స్వధర్మంలోకి వచ్చి మే 5 న స్థానిక అమ్మవారి దేవాలయంలో సమరసతా సేవా ఫౌండేషన్ పెద్దల సమక్షంలో తాళి కట్టి ఆమెను వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు.

తాము తిరిగి స్వధర్మాన్ని స్వీకరించే విషయంలో పెళ్లి కొడుకు కుటుంబం తొలుత కొంత తర్జనభర్జన పడ్డా……. అనంతరం తమ కాబోయే కోడలి కోర్కెను తీర్చడానికి పెద్ద మనసుతో ముందుకు వచ్చారు. అందుకు సమరసతా మహిళా కార్యకర్తలు చూపిన చొరవ ప్రశంసనీయం.

జ్యోతి గత మార్చి మాసంలోనే ప్రత్యేక పూజా కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా హైందవంలోకి వచ్చింది. ఆమె చూపిన స్వధర్మాభిమానం, తీసుకున్న సాహసోపేత నిర్ణయం వలననే ఆమె హిందువును, హిందూ పద్ధతిలో వివాహం చేసుకోగలిగింది. నూతన వధూవరులను సమరసతా సేవా ఫౌండేషన్ కార్యకర్తలు మనస్ఫూర్తిగా అభినందించారు. దంపతులకు నూతన వస్త్రాలను బహూకరించారు. జ్యోతి చూపిన తెగువే ధర్మానికి రక్ష అవుతుంది. సనాతన ధర్మ జ్యోతిని నిలబెట్టడానికి చిరంజీవి లక్ష్మీ సౌభాగ్యవతి జ్యోతి తన వంతు కృషి చేసింది. జ్యోతికి శుభాశీస్సులు.
