Seva Bharati distributed AYUSH 64 kits sent by the Union Ministry of AYUSH to about 10,000 corona sufferers across the state as part of corona prevention and treatment. Provided oxygen concentrators to those in need. SevaBharati provided ambulance services for COVID patients and funeral chariot services for the evacuation of bodies. Seva Bharati also operates isolation centers in various parts of the state. Provided food, drinking water and fruits to the victims receiving corona treatment in various hospitals and to the victims in home isolation.

During the Lockdown Sevabharati Provided ration kits to troubled private teachers, various Handicraftsmen, daily laborers, paraplegics, priests, etc. during the lockdown. As well as anandayya medicine, which has played a significant role in the prevention and treatment of corona and the packets of amber powder made with various herbs and ingredients so that the infusion could be boiled also provided by Sevabharati to thousands of people. Seva Bharati also sheltered two children who lost their parents and family members due to corona.

కరోనా నివారణ, చికిత్సలలో భాగంగా కేంద్ర ఆయుష్ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ వారిచే పంపబడిన ఆయుష్ 64 కిట్లను రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా సుమారు 10000ల మంది కరోనా పీడితులకు సేవా భారతి అందజేసింది. అవసరమైనవారికి ఆక్సిజన్ కాన్సెంట్రేటర్లను అందజేసింది. అంబులెన్స్ సేవలను, మృతదేహాల తరలింపుకు అంతిమయాత్రా రథ సేవలను కూడా సేవా భారతి అందించింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాలలో ఐసొలేషన్ కేంద్రాలను కూడా సేవా భారతి నిర్వహించింది. వివిధ ఆసుపత్రులలో కరోనా చికిత్స అందుకుంటున్న బాధితులకు, హోమ్ ఐసొలేషన్ లో ఉన్న బాధితులకు ఆహారము, త్రాగునీరు, పండ్లు వంటి వాటిని అందజేసింది.

లాక్ డౌన్ సమయంలో వృత్తి వ్యాపారాలు లేక ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్న ప్రైవేటు ఉపాధ్యాయులు, వివిధ చేతివృత్తుల వారు, దినసరి కూలీలు, దివ్యాంగులు, అర్చకులు తదితరులకు రేషన్ కిట్లను అందజేసింది. అలాగే కరోనా నివారణ, చికిత్సలో గణనీయమైన పాత్రను పోషించిన ఆనందయ్య ఔషధాన్ని, కషాయం కాచుకునేందుకు వీలుగా వివిధ వనమూలికలు, దినుసులతో చేయబడిన కషాయం పొడి ప్యాకెట్లను కూడా వేలాది మందికి అందజేసింది. కరోనా కారణంగా తల్లిదండ్రులను, కుటుంబ సభ్యులను కోల్పోయిన ఇద్దరు చిన్నారులను కూడా సేవా భారతి అక్కున చేర్చుకుంది.

Speaking at the Inaugural function, Sri Vellampalli Srinivas, Minister for Endowments, Govt of AP, appreciated the endeavours of Seva Bharati for the cause of the nation. He was reminiscent of his participation in the Service activities undertaken by Seva Bharati in the past also.

Sri Chalasani Babu Rajendra Prasad, the Managing trustee of Chalasani Malathi Memorial Trust which extended financial support for procuring four ambulances, told that volunteers of Seva Bharati are rendering unparalleled services.

Dr Murali Krishna, Coordinator of the All India Aarogya Mitra, explained the activities of seva Bharathi specifically outlining the activities under Health, Education, Habitation and Food.

The Principal domains of activity in Vijayawada are Abhysikas which address the educational needs of the Children of the Hand-to mouth parents who may not be able offer required post school attention to the children who would be studying in the Govt. Schools. The Volunteers are offering education and training in allied areas to such children while distributing

books and school bags to such children. Collecting Rice and old clothes from the society and distributing it to the poor and needy and conduct medical camps are regular features in the service profile of the organization.. At Chinturu in AP, a hospital has been run for the last 22 years catering to about 50 tribal villages offering services to about 3 thousand people. The mobile health unit has been offering services in another 36 villages. In those villages students who passed 10th class are sent to higher education according help up to getting employment for those students through Vidya Vikas Samithi. In that way, help for employment is given to hundreds of such students.

1. Services during COVID-19 pandemic:

During the first wave of the pandemic, Seva Bharati established scores of services centres all over the state and distributed food packets, drinking water and health
ensuring items to migrant labour walking though the highways. Medical help was offered to the needy. 55,000 people got benefitted through the activities.

2. During the Second Wave:

With cooperation from VP Siddhartha Public school 1991 SSC batch B section (NRI) and with the cooperation of so many other donors, 10800 food packets were distributed to the COVID patients, their attendants for the last 33 days at Vijayawada Govt General Hospital and with the cooperation of Akhaya Patra foundation, food distribution is being held at Pinnamaneni Medical College, Chinaauvutupalli and Yanadula colony, Chenchuu colony, etc at Pedaavutupalli benefitting 5000 people for 10 days. 1650 food packets were delivered at their respective houses for the COVID patients in home isolation. 15 volunteers have been rendering services day in and day out.

Ayurveda Medicine distribution: Ayush-64 developed by Ministry of AYUSH for COVID patients was distributed. 20 volunteers undertook the task distributing 2173 kits in Vijayawada while 5896 kits in other districts in AP making a total of 8069. Each kit is RS600/- making the medicines worth Rs. 48,41,400/- have been distributed.

3. Seva Bharati Call Centre:

It is a doctor on call service offering relevant advice for medical and psychological issues. 650 people were benefitted. 21 volunteers worked tirelessly

4. Oxygen Concentrators:

Oxygen concentrators have been arranged for nominal charges. 12 concentrators were offered out of 12, 8were donated by Seva International, 2 by Smt Pathi Lalitha Devi of Swami agencies and the other two by Sri Naveen of Twills Clothing. 21 people got benefitted with the service rendered at nominal cost.

5. COVID Isolation Centre:

A 56 bed capacity Isolation centre with 7 Oxygen beds has been run on behalf of Sri Gopal Rao Thakur Memorial Samithi at Reach Educational Complex at Gannavaram in which 87 patients got admitted out of those 38 patients were discharged on getting totally cured of the Disease. 43 patients are currently in isolation. 5 members were sent for better treatment to other hospitals. Oxygen was administered to 25 patients. 15 Medical staff, Sanitary workers 6, Cooks4, security personnel 4 and a receptionist have been offering their dedicated services in the facility. COREVETA, A subsidiary of DUPONT(MNC), Sri Chigurupati Kumara Swamy and Reach School Management, Gannavaram, have extended financial help for the facility.

In this program sevabharathi Vijayawada website www.sevabharathivja.org is also launched. Seva Bharati volunteers are pitting their best efforts.

నాలుగు అంబులెన్సులకు ఆర్థిక సహాయం అందజేసిన చలసాని మాలతి మెమోరియల్ ట్రస్ట్ మేనేజింగ్ ట్రస్ట్ శ్రీ చలసాని బాబు రాజేంద్ర ప్రసాద్ మాట్లాడుతూ సేవా భారతి కార్యకర్తల సేవా నిరతి నిరుపమానం అని పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న అఖిలభారత ఆరోగ్య మిత్ర సంయోజకులు డాక్టర్ మురళీ కృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ సేవా భారతి ద్వారా జరుగుతున్న సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను వివరించారు. సేవా సంకల్పంలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యంగా ఆరోగ్యము, విద్య, ఆవాసం, ఆహారము మొదలైన విభాగాలలో జరుగుతున్న పనిని వివరించారు.విజయవాడలో జరుగుతున్న ముఖ్యమైన విద్యా ప్రకల్పాలు అభ్యాసికలు. రెక్కాడితే గాని డొక్కాడని పేద కుటుంబాలలో పిల్లల చదువు మీద శ్రద్ధ పెట్టలేకపోతున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వ బడులలో చదివే పిల్లలు ఇంటికి వచ్చిన తరువాత ఆలనా పాలనకు తల్లి తండ్రులు సమయం ఇవ్వలేకపోతున్నారు. అటువంటి కుటుంబాలలోని పిల్లలను ఆదుకునేందుకు రూపొందించినది అభ్యాసిక స్వచ్ఛందసేవకులు ఆయా ప్రదేశాలలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కేంద్రాల ద్వారా ఆ పిల్లలకు విద్యలోను ఇతర రంగాలలోను శిక్షణ ఇస్తున్నారు. అటువంటి విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థులకు పుస్తకాలు, పుస్తకాల సంచులు అందిస్తున్నామని అన్నారు.

అదేవిధంగా రక్తదానం చేసే వారి యొక్క సూచిని తయారు చేసి వారి ద్వారా రక్తదానం, నారాయణ పాత్ర అనే పేరుతో సమాజం నుండి బియ్యం మరియు దుస్తులు సేకరించి పేద కుటుంబాలకు అందించడం, సేవా బస్తీలలో ఆరోగ్య శిబిరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం ప్రతినిత్యం జరిగే సేవా ప్రకల్పాలు. చింతూరు కేంద్రం గా గత 22 సంవత్సరాలుగా 50పైగా గిరిజన గ్రామాల్లో 3 వేలకు పైగా ప్రజలకు వైద్యం అందించడం జరుగుతున్నదని అన్నారు. అక్కడి సంచార వైద్యశాల ద్వారా మరో 36 గిరిజన గ్రామాలకు వైద్య సేవ జరుగుతున్నది. ఆయా గిరిజన గ్రామాలలోని 10వ తరగతి పూర్తి చేసిన బాల బాలికలను విద్యా వికాస సమితి అనే ప్రకల్పం ద్వారా పై చదువులు పూర్తి చేయించి ఉద్యోగం లో చేరేలా పూర్తి బాధ్యతను చేపట్టి వందల మందికి ఉపాధి కల్పిస్తోంది అని అన్నారు.
