He went to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh shakha at his high school level. During the tenure of the late Bhogadi Durgaprasad as Vijayawada Vibhag Pracharak, Sri Murali Mohan was enthusiastically engaged in social work. At that time in Krishna district he worked as in charge of the district administration (Zilla Karyavaha). He also spent some time in prison during the 1975 Emergency. At that time his father Venkateswara Rao Chowdhury had an acquaintance with the Congress leaders and with the help of reputation he tried to get Sri Murali Mohan released from jail. At that time, the jail authorities asked Mr. Murali Mohan to write a letter stating that he had no connection with the RSS. The proposal was unequivocally rejected by Shri Murali Mohan and he was imprisoned.

He later contested the 1977 elections for the Vijayawada Parliament on behalf of the Janata Party. Later he served as the Sanghachalak of the Vijayawada Division (Vibhag) and later the Andhra Pradesh Regional Officer.

His wife Mrs. Swatantrabharati worked in high positions in the medical department. They have four daughters and a son. Their eldest daughter died of a heart attack last month. Remaining three daughters are in abroad. Sri Muralimohan couple stayed with their son. The late Muralimohan was an idealist who devoted his full energy to the expansion of social work throughout his life.

Inspired by these activists, some other Sangh Parivar activists also came forward to participate in the funerals in future. On this occasion, Shri Kota Sunil Kumar, State Joint Secretary, Samarasata Seva Foundation, a famouse spiritualist in the Gudur town, is providing financial resources for the PPE kits and other expenses which are required to the activists.

Speaking to our VSK correspondent on the occasion Shri Kota Sunil Kumar said that in order to conduct these funeral ceremonies in a more traditional manner, it is also planned to appoint a priest among the proper precautions. Everyone is praising the team of activists who volunteered for the funeral of the corona dead, which even close relatives and family members were reluctant to at least touch. It is impressive that the activists are also conducting the funerals of the dead in the most devotional and traditional manner amidst the Shanti mantra and Bharat Mataki Jai slogans.

Sri. Mallikharjuna Sharma was a senior RSS Swayam Sevak in Kurnool district. Late Sri Sharma has to overcome so many hurdles to started the hostel to fullfill his noble mission of providing free accommodation, meals and education to the deprived poor children of Chenchu (Primitive Tribal Group-PTG) Community.

He worked hard to educate, nurture and uplift the future of Chenchu children. For the last two decades the Bhakta Kannappa Awasam (free hostel) in Gokavaram, Kurnool district has been striving for the future of Chenchu children.

He rendered services as secretary to the “Bhakta Kannappa” Hostel and bought up so many chenchu youth, who are now leading a successful life. He provided vocational education in ” Earn while you learn ” concept in trades like electrical, carpentry, welding etc. in addition to acadamics and used to save that money.

He provided that money after they finished their education and training to rehabilitate them selves in self employment and to lead a self reliant and successful life.

మల్లిఖార్జున శర్మ గారు కర్నూలు జిల్లాలో సీనియర్ ఆర్ ఎస్ ఎస్ కార్యకర్త. గత రెండు దశాబ్దాలుగా కర్నూలు జిల్లా గోకవరంలో భక్త కన్నప్ప ఆవాసం (ఉచిత హాస్టల్) చెంచుల విద్యార్థుల వికాసం కొరకు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. వారు కన్నప్ప ఆవాసానికి కార్యదర్శిగా ఉంటూ ఎన్నో సేవలు అందించారు. విద్యార్థులకు చదువుతోపాటు నైపుణ్య విద్యను కూడా నేర్పించి, వారికి చదువుతోపాటు కొంత ఆదాయం కలిగించి, వృత్తి విద్యలైన ఎలక్ట్రికల్, కార్పెంటరీ, వెల్డింగ్ ఇలాంటి పనులు నేర్పి చదువుతో పాటు కొంత సంపాదన వచ్చే విధంగా ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. చదువు అయిన తర్వాత ఆ డబ్బు వారికే ఇచ్చి వాళ్ళ కాళ్లపై వారు నిలబడేలా విధంగా ప్రయత్నం చేశారు.
