She is a poor woman who works as a daily laborer. She lives along with her son in a very small house. Her husband had died earlier. They have two sons. A son has recently died with Corona. Her son is also engaged in a some small profession. No matter how small her family is, her heart is so big. She may be poor in terms of wealth but not for charity. She donated an amount of Rs. one lakh, the amount she saved from her hard earned income. This happened in Vijayanagaram.

Readers are aware that some unidentified thugs destroyed the idol of Sri Ramachandra at Ramalayam on Ramathirtham Bodikonda in Nellimarla Mandal, Vijayanagar District, Andhrapradesh. Sri Sri Sri Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamy, the presiding dean of the famous Udupi Pejawar math in Karnataka, visited the temple. On that occasion, he participated in an event organized by the Ayodhya Tirtha Kshetra Trust at Venkateswara Temple in Vijayanagar. Mrs. Annapoornamma handed over a check of Rs. 1 lakh through Swamiji to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi theertha kshetra trust as her share of funds for the construction of Ayodhya Sri Rama Mandir.

Destroyers of idols should be identified and severely punished – Pejavar Swamiji

Sri Sri Sri Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swami, the renowned Pejavar Chairperson of Karnataka, visited Ramalayam on the Rama Tirtha hill in Vijayanagaram district. Later he visited the Shiva temple at Ramatirtha. In a subsequent press conference he strongly condemned the incident took palce at the Ram Mandir in Ramatirtha and on the serial attacks on Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh over the past few days. He demanded that the state government should immediately identify the culprits and punish them severely. He said the central government should also intervene in the matter and do justice to Hindus and Hindu temples. Later he released to the press, the letter he wrote to the Home Minister Sri Amit Shah.

అయోధ్య రామ మందిర నిర్మాణానికి లక్ష రూపాయలు సమర్పించిన నిరుపేద మహిళ

ఆమె దినసరి కూలీ చేసుకుంటూ జీవించే మహిళ. చాలా చిన్న ఇళ్లు. ఇంట్లో కుమారుడు, ఆమె మాత్రమే ఉంటారు. ఆమె భర్త గతంలోనే కాలం చేశారు. వారికిద్దరు కుమారులు. ఒక కుమారుడు ఈ మధ్యే కరోనాతో మరణించాడు. ఉన్న ఒక్క కుమారుడు కూడా ఏదో చిన్న వృత్తిలో ఉన్నాడు. ఆమె కుటుంబం చిన్నదైనా, ఆమె మనసు మాత్రం పెద్దది. ఆమె ధనానికి పేదరాలే కానీ దాతృత్వానికి కాదు. ఒక నిరుపేద మహిళ తను కష్టపడి కూలి పని చేసి రూపాయి రూపాయిగా కూడబెట్టిన మొత్తం లక్ష రూపాయలను అయోధ్య రామమందిర నిర్మాణ నిధికి సమర్పించిన ఘటన విజయనగరంలో చోటు చేసుకుంది.

విజయనగరం జిల్లా నెల్లిమర్ల మండలం రామతీర్థం బోదికొండపైనున్న రామాలయంలోని శ్రీరామచంద్రుని విగ్రహాన్ని దుండగులు ధ్వంసం చేసిన సంగతి పాఠకులకు విదితమే. ఆ దేవాలయ సందర్శనార్థం కర్ణాటకలోని సుప్రసిద్ధ ఉడిపి పెజావర్ పీఠాధిపతి శ్రీ శ్రీ శ్రీ విశ్వ ప్రసన్న తీర్థ స్వామి ఇక్కడకు వేంచేశారు. ఆ సందర్భంగా విజయనగరంలోని శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వరాలయంలో అయోధ్య తీర్థ క్షేత్ర ట్రస్ట్ వారు నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో ఆయన పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా విజయనగరానికి చెందిన శ్రీమతి అన్నపూర్ణమ్మ, స్వామీజీ చేతుల మీదుగా అయోధ్య రామ మందిర నిర్మాణానికి తన వంతు నిధిగా లక్ష రూపాయల చెక్కును అందజేశారు.

కర్ణాటకలోని సుప్రసిద్ధ పెజావర్ పీఠాధిపతి శ్రీ శ్రీ శ్రీ విశ్వ ప్రసన్న తీర్థ స్వామి వారు ఈరోజు విజయనగరం జిల్లాలోని రామతీర్థం కొండ పైనున్న రామాలయాన్ని సందర్శించారు. తర్వాత రామతీర్థంలోని శివాలయాన్ని సందర్శించారు. అనంతరం జరిగిన పత్రికా విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో రామతీర్థంలోని రామమందిరంలో జరిగిన దుర్ఘటన మరియు గత సంవత్సరం రోజులుగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని హిందూ దేవాలయాల పై జరుగుతున్న దాడులను తీవ్రంగా ఖండించారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం దోషులను వెంటనే గుర్తించి కఠినంగా శిక్షించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ఈ విషయంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కూడా జోక్యం చేసుకుని హిందువులకు, హిందూ దేవాలయాలకు న్యాయం చేయాలని కోరుతున్నామన్నారు. ఆ మేరకు కేంద్ర హోం శాఖా మంత్రి అమిత్షాకి తాము వ్రాసిన లేఖను పత్రికా ముఖంగా ప్రదర్శించారు.
