Free medical care, free bed, free medication, healthy and nutritious food, as well as other services not even typically found in corporate hospitals are also available here.

It specializes in daily yoga practice to patients, pranayama and counseling with specialist doctors. Here men and women are kept in separate wards.

The centre is surrounded by hills and a pleasant atmosphere in a mango orchard. This Covid Care Centre is a great gift given by RSS to many Covid patients in Visakhapatnam.

They also have two ambulances here for emergency services. However, due to the unavailability of oxygen service at the center, only Covid patients only under the age of 50 who do not have respiratory problems are admitted.

Therefore, this Covid Care Centre run by the RSS for patients who are suffering with Covid symptoms and whose condition is not yet serious, and who want to stay away from other family members after Covid becomes positive and want to recover from Covid.

The centre will have 450 beds. Here, the patients who are asymptomatic, but have tested positive and have no place for home quarantine will be given entry. One room will have three patients. The patients here will get tea, breakfast, two meals and medicines free of cost. Eight trained doctors, 25 trained members will be available 24X7.

The patient can stay in the quarantine home for 10 to 12 days as per the medical advice. In case of any emergency, the patient can be shifted to the hospital with help from the civic body. A team of medical experts from Sahyadri Hospital will be taking care of the patients. Counseling too will be provided, said RSS, Pune city executive Mahesh Karpe.

Pune platform for Covid Response, Sahyadri Hospital, Lohia family’s Mukund Bhavan trust, Laxminarayan Devesthan Trust, Parimal and Pramod Chaudhary Foundation, Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha helped the centre.
