“The process of returning to their original religion and original society by Hindus, who have been converted to other religions, especially to Islam and Christianity, has come into practice under the name of” Gharvapasi. Or “Shuddhi” (refinement) or ” Punaragamanam “ (return).

The ancestors of the majority of Muslims and Christians living in India were Hindus. In the past they were subjected to fear, deception, or temptation and compelled to change their religious faith. Conversion is the beginning of slavery. Even today, conversions of Hindus continue to be a problem. Those who want to enslave the Hindu community and India once again are still in the business of proselytizing. But it is only when the converted return to their traditional home, we can say they have been emancipated from the shackles of slavery.

Our forefathers were well aware of the interrelationship between conversion and slavery. Hence the efforts to re-integrate our converted fellowmen into their parent society have been going on in our country for thousands of years. Our sages and elders carried out this process on the basis of Dharmashastras. Following the footsteps of our forefathers, we should also include our fellow Hindus who have been converted. Those who are in the Hindu community must be protected,” he said.

“ఇతర మతాలలోకి, ప్రత్యేకించి ఇస్లాం, క్రైస్తవ మతాలలోకి మార్చబడ్డ హిందువులు తిరిగి తమ మూల ధర్మంలోకి, మూల సమాజంలోకి వచ్చే ప్రక్రియ “ఘర్‌వాపసీ” అనే పేరుతో వాడుకలోకి వచ్చింది. దీనిని “శుద్ధి” అని “పునరాగమనం” అని కూడా అంటున్నారు.

భారతదేశంలో నివసిస్తున్న ముస్లింలలో, క్రైస్తవులలో అత్యధికుల పూర్వజులు హిందువులే. వారిని ఒకానొక కాలంలో భయానికి, మోసానికి, లేదా ప్రలోభానికి గురిచేసి మతం మార్చడం జరిగింది. మతం మారడం దాస్యానికి ఆరంభం. నేటికి కూడా హిందువులను మత మార్పిళ్ళకు గురి చేస్తూండడం ఒక సమస్యగా కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంది. హిందూ సమాజాన్ని, భారత దేశాన్ని మళ్లీ దాస్యంలోకి నెట్టాలనుకుంటున్న వాళ్లు నేడు కూడా మత మార్పిడి వ్యాపారాన్ని సాగిస్తున్నారు. కానీ మతం మారినవారు తమ పరంపరాగతమైన సొంత ఇంటికి వచ్చినపుడు మాత్రమే వారు దాస్యపు సంకెలల నుంచి విముక్తి పొందారని చెప్పగలం.

మత మార్పిడికి, బానిసత్వానికి గల పరస్పర సంబంధం మన పూర్వులకు బాగా తెలుసు. అందుచేత మతం మార్చబడ్డ మన వారిని వారి మాతృ సమాజంలోకి తిరిగి విలీనం చేసుకునే ప్రయత్నాలు మన దేశంలో కొన్ని వేల సంవత్సరాలుగా జరుగుతూనే వచ్చాయి. మన ఋషులు, మహాపురుషులు ఈ ప్రక్రియను ధర్మశాస్త్రాల ఆధారంగా సాగించారు. ఏ కారణం వల్లనైనా అపవిత్ర జీవితం గడుపుతున్న వారికి పునరాగమనం జరిపే విధానం హిందూ ధర్మశాస్త్రాలలో ప్రాచీన కాలం నుంచీ ఉంది. మన పూర్వీకులు ఆచరించిన పునరాగమన పద్ధతులను అనుసరించి మనం కూడా మతం మారిన మన బంధువులను అక్కున చేర్చుకోవాలి. ఉన్నవారు మారకుండా కాపాడుకోవాలి ” అని తెలిపారు.

Activists of the Dharma Jagarana Samiti are visiting Mattaparru Palam and surrounding villages in the Poduru zone of West Godavari district to set up committees of the Shetty Balija community.

Dharma Jagarana Samiti activists came to know that some Shetty Balija caste people in Mattaparru Palem village had been converted and they were trying to convert another 40 more Shetty Balijas.

Activists like jilla Dharma Jagarana PariyojanPramukh Shri Chintapalli Ramesh, Andhra Pradesh state Shetty Balija Pariyojan Pramukh Shri Kadali Nagaraju, Andhra Pradesh state Saha Pariyojan Pramukh Shri Rayudu Muthyalarao and other leaders of Shetty Balija caste visited five other villages including Mattaparru village and explained the uniqueness of Hindu Dharma to them. They also Described the history, richness, culture and traditions of the Shetty Balija caste.

Thus, realising the history, greatness and uniqueness of Hindu culture and of their caste, they decided to continue their ideal life in Hinduism like their fore fathers.

ఇది ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోని 2689 గ్రామాలలో, 21000 కుటుంబాలలో లాక్ డౌన్ సందర్భంగా ప్రతి నిత్యమూ కనిపిస్తున్న దృశ్యం. ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ధర్మ జాగరణ సమితి లాక్ డౌన్ సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్రంలోని ధర్మ జాగరణ కార్యకర్తలందరూ రోజూ అర్ధ గంట పాటు తమ నిత్య సాధనను కొనసాగించాలని నిర్ణయించింది. పెద్దల నిర్ణయం మేరకు  రాష్ట్రంలోని 2689 గ్రామాలలో 21000 కుటుంబాలకు సంబంధించిన 90650 మంది కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ప్రతిరోజూ “నిత్య సాధన” లో పాల్గొంటూ ఉండటం విశేషం.

ఈ విధంగా ప్రతిరోజూ నిత్య సాధనను కొనసాగిస్తూ ఉండడంవల్ల తమ కుటుంబాలలో ఎంతో ప్రశాంతత నెలకొందని, మానసిక, శారీరిక స్వస్థత చేకూరుతున్నదని ఆ కుటుంబ సభ్యులందరూ చెబుతున్నారు. పైగా ప్రతిరోజూ దీని కారణంగా కుటుంబ సభ్యులందరం ఒక చోట చేరుతూ ఉండడం ఎంతో ఆనందాన్ని కలిగిస్తూ ఉన్నదని కూడా వారు హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. కొన్ని గ్రామాలలో అయితే కరోనా దృష్ట్యా ఉన్న అత్యవసర పరిస్థితి నేపథ్యంలో అవసరమైన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటూనే, తగిన సామాజిక దూరాన్ని పాటిస్తూ ఆయా వాడలలోని వారు తమ సమీప దేవాలయంలో అందరూ కలిసి ఈ నిత్య సాధనను కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. ఈ ప్రేరణతో మరి కొన్ని గ్రామాలకు, మరికొన్ని కుటుంబాలకు ఈ కార్యక్రమం విస్తరించనున్నదని, ఈ “నిత్య సాధన” లాక్ డౌన్ పూర్తయ్యేంత వరకు కొనసాగుతుందని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రాంత ధర్మజాగరణ ప్రముఖ్ శ్రీ తిరుపతయ్య తెలిపారు.
